Electrical Licensing Board now issuing electrical licence documents by email

Website Banners (8)

The Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety is moving to issuing electrical licence documents by email.

This will mean that applicants for electrician, trainee, contractor, electrical worker and in-house electrical installing work licences will receive confirmation of the grant of their licence (or renewal) by email, along with a copy of their licence document. Electrical contractors and in-house electrical installing work licence holders will also receive a copy of their certificate of registration attached to the same email.

Printed copies of these documents will be available on request.

Please be aware that ID cards for electricians and restricted electrical licence holders will continue to be issued by mail to ensure they can be produced on site or as required.
