We assess every aspect of the electrical trade up to the Certificate IV level. Our experienced assessors work in both our simulated workplace and your own work environment. All assessments follow current competency standards, where they are available.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is designed for individuals with existing skills and experience who are looking to gain formal qualifications. If you’ve previously completed training in the electrical trade or a related field, you may be eligible for an RPL assessment.

RPL is a formal process that evaluates your existing experience—whether gained through on-the-job training, previous study (including international qualifications), or work in a related trade—to determine if it meets the competency requirements of a nationally recognised qualification.

To learn more about the RPL application process or determine your eligibility, please contact the administration coordinator at your chosen campus.
